JELAJAHNEWS.ID – Mantan Ketua DPR RI, Setya Novanto mendapatkan remisi dalam rangka HUT ke-78 RI.
Keduanya mendapatkan remisi umum I atau pengurangan sebagian masa hukuman penjara.
“Iya dapat (remisi) tiga bulan dua-duanya,” kata Kalapas Sukamiskin, Kunrat Kasmiri dilansir detikNews, Kamis (17/8/2023).
Remisi untuk napi koruptor tersebut, kata Kunrat, telah sesuai dengan UU Nomor 22 tahun 2022. Keduanya memenuhi syarat untuk mendapat remisi sesuai UU tersebut.
Menurutnya, Setya Novanto dan Imam Nahrawi juga berkelakuan baik selama menjalani masa tahanan di Lapas Sukamiskin.
“Iya (berkelakuan baik). Kan ada penilaian segala macam ada syarat-syarat tertentu yang kita laksanakan dan seluruh warga binaan yang mengikuti program itu kita berikan remisi,” terang Kunrat.
Menurutnya, jika napi tersebut memenuhi syarat sesuai UU 22 Tahun 2022 tersebut, baik syarat substansi dan administrasi, maka akan diberikan remisi.
Setya Novanto merupakan terpidana kasus korupsi e-KTP yang divonis 15 tahun penjara, sedangkan Imam Nahrawi terpidana kasus korupsi terkait gratifikasi dana KONI dengan vonis 7 tahun penjara. (dtc)
