JELAJAHNEWS.ID – Presiden RI Joko Widodo (Jokowi) meresmikan Jalan Tol Bengkulu-Taba Penanjung, Kamis (20/07/2023), di Kota Bengkulu, Bengkulu. Presiden Jokowi berharap keberadaan infrastruktur ini dapat memicu munculnya titik-titik pertumbuhan ekonomi baru.
“Alhamdulillah, pada pagi hari ini Jalan Tol Ruas Bengkulu-Taba Penanjung akan beroperasi dan ini akan menunjang mobilitas logistik, mobilitas orang, dan akan memunculkan titik-titik pertumbuhan ekonomi baru,” ujar Presiden.
Presiden juga berharap jalan tol ini dapat mendukung pertumbuhan ekonomi serta peningkatan kesejahteraan masyarakat di wilayah Bengkulu.
“Kita harapkan, sekali lagi, dengan selesainya jalan tol ini akan mempercepat pertumbuhan ekonomi, mempercepat mobilitas orang dan barang, dan kita harapkan ini bisa menyejahterakan masyarakat kita karena daya saing Bengkulu pasti akan meningkat lebih baik,” tandasnya.
Jalan Tol Bengkulu-Taba Penanjung memiliki panjang 16,7 kilometer dan merupakan bagian dari ruas Bengkulu-Lubuklinggau. Infrastruktur ini dibangun dengan alokasi anggaran sebesar Rp4,8 triliun.(skb)
