JELAJAHNEWS.ID – Presiden Prabowo Subianto meresmikan renovasi dan pembangunan 17 stadion di Indonesia, yang terpusat di Stadion Gelora Delta Sidoarjo, Kabupaten Sidoarjo, Provinsi Jawa Timur, Senin ( 17/3/2025). Peresmian ini dilakukan setelah sejumlah stadion direnovasi dan dibangun, serta dinyatakan memenuhi standar federasi sepak bola dunia (FIFA).
Secara keseluruhan, proyek renovasi dan pembangunan 17 stadion ini menelan biaya sekitar Rp1,74 triliun, dengan masa pelaksanaan dari tahun 2023 hingga 2024. Dalam sambutannya, Presiden Prabowo menyampaikan apresiasi kepada seluruh pihak yang telah bekerja keras dalam mewujudkan proyek ini.
“Saya ucapkan terima kasih kepada semua pihak yang telah bekerja keras, sehingga hari ini kita dapat meresmikan 17 stadion yang memiliki standar internasional, yang telah diinspeksi oleh FIFA dan dinyatakan memenuhi syarat FIFA,” ujar Presiden.
Presiden juga menekankan bahwa sepak bola bukan sekadar olahraga, tetapi juga cerminan harga diri suatu bangsa. Ia menegaskan bahwa negara yang kuat harus memiliki fisik dan mental yang tangguh, serta semangat juang yang tinggi.
“Olahraga adalah salah satu tolok ukur untuk menilai apakah suatu bangsa memiliki semangat, kehendak, atau mudah menyerah. Ini adalah indikator penting dari keinginan untuk maju,” tegasnya.
Lebih lanjut, Presiden menyoroti bagaimana negara-negara dengan keterbatasan ekonomi mampu berprestasi di kancah sepak bola dunia berkat semangat dan tekad yang luar biasa. Sebagai bentuk komitmen pemerintah terhadap pengembangan sepak bola nasional, Presiden menegaskan bahwa dukungan terhadap pembinaan sepak bola akan terus berlanjut melalui kebijakan strategis, termasuk pembangunan infrastruktur tambahan.
“Indonesia harus masuk Piala Dunia. Itu tekad kita,” ucap Presiden dengan optimisme.
“Dengan keberhasilan pembangunan 17 stadion ini, kita akan membangkitkan semangat dan tekad untuk terus berkembang. Dalam 2-3 tahun ke depan, kita akan menambah 17 stadion lagi, atau bahkan 20 stadion. Setiap kabupaten di Indonesia harus memiliki stadion yang baik. Itu sasaran kita,” lanjutnya.
Selain itu, Presiden juga menekankan pentingnya mendukung klub-klub amatir dan memastikan sekolah-sekolah memiliki fasilitas olahraga yang memadai. Ia berharap setiap sekolah di Indonesia memiliki lapangan sepak bola yang layak untuk mendukung pengembangan bakat-bakat muda di dunia sepak bola.
“Itulah sasaran kita, insyaAllah akan tercapai. Yang penting adalah kehendak dan keinginan dulu, tujuan yang jelas, dan keberanian untuk mengambil langkah-langkah yang diperlukan,” tandasnya.(jn/**)
