JELAJAHNEWS.ID – Peluncuran Satelit Republik Indonesia (SATRIA)-1 berlangsung sukses. Satelit multifungsi milik Pemerintah itu akan menempati orbit 146°BT tepat di atas Pulau Papua.
Plt Direktur Utama Badan Aksesibiiltas Telekomunikasi dan Informasi (BAKTI) Kementerian Kominfo Arief Tri Hardiyanto, mengharapkan agar SATRIA-1 akan menempati orbit dan beroperasi dengan baik.
“Alhamdulillah tadi peluncuran berlangsung dengan baik. Ini capaian yang sangat hebat dan keberhasilan atas doa seluruh rakyat Indonesia, ungkapnya usai menyaksikan Peluncuran SATRIA-1 di Kennedy Space Center, Florida, Amerika Serikat, Minggu (18/06/2023) waktu setempat.
Peluncuran SATRIA-1 sempat tertunda 17 menit dari jadwal semula pukul 18.04 waktu setempat atau Senin (19/06/2023) pukul 05:04 WIB. Meskipun demikian, masih dalam time window peluncuran.
Arief Tri Hardiyanto menjelaskan setelah ini SATRIA-1 akan dipantau oleh Thales Alenia Space untuk memastikan seluruh perangkat bisa berfungsi dengan baik.
“Mudah-mudahan semua perangkat yang ada di SATRIA-1 dapat bekerja dengan baik solar cell dan antenanya. Dan bisa terkendali dari stasiun bumi,” tuturnya.
Plt Dirut BAKTI Kominfo menyatakan setelah itu SATRIA-1 akan bergerak menempati orbit 146°BT yang berada di atas langit Papaua.
“Semoga seluruh tahapan berjalan lancar hingga nanti bisa menempati orbit pada bulan November 2023,” ujarnya.
SATRIA-1 telah diluncurkan dengan roket Falcon 9 milik Space Exploration Technologies Corporation (SpaceX). Saltelit itu merupakan satelit multifungsi pertama milik Pemerintah dengan kapasitas terbesar di Asia. Pemerintah mengharapkan agar peluncuran SATRIA-1 berhasil dan bisa mendukung akselerasi transformasi digital nasional.(kmf)
