JELAJAHNEWS.ID – Partai Golkar dan PAN dengan koalisi Gerindra dan PKB sepakat mengusung Ketua Umum Gerindra Prabowo Subianto sebagai calon presiden (capres) di Pilpres 2024.

Deklarasi bergabungnya Golkar dan PAN digelar di Museum Perumusan Naskah Proklamasi (Munasprok), Jakarta, Minggu (13/8/2023) pagi WIB.

Ketua Umum masing-masing partai hadir dan berbicara dalam deklarasi ini.

Ketua Umum Golkar Airlangga Hartarto menyatakan dukungan partainya terhadap Prabowo tak lepas dari sejarah kedekatan menteri pertahanan itu dengan Golkar.

“Kenapa Golkar menjatuhkan pilihan ke Prabowo? Tidak lain tidak bukan karena Letnan Jenderal Prabowo lahir dari rahim Partai Golkar. Oleh karena itu, beliau mengikuti berbagai kegiatan di Golkar dan kekaryaannya tidak diragukan lagi. Ini egaliter, searah, setujuan dengan Golkar, Pak Prabowo,” kata Airlangga dalam pidato deklarasinya.

Sementara itu Ketua Umum PAN Zulkifli Hasan resmi berharap dukungan PAN bersama partai-partai lain bisa mengantarkan Prabowo menjadi presiden terpilih di Pilpres 2024.

“Mudah-mudahanan kita bersama PKB, Gerindra, Golkar serta PAN dan teman-teman partai lainnya bisa menuntaskan. Februari 2024 Insya Allah Pak Prabowo menjadi Presiden Indonesia,” kata Zulkifli.

Dukungan dari PAN dan Golkar ini makin menguatkan posisi Prabowo sebagai capres. Sebelumnya, Prabowo hanya didukung oleh Gerindra dan PKB.

Namun, dalam koalisi baru ini masih belum menemukan kesepakatan soal calon wakil presiden pendamping Prabowo.

Sejumlah nama cawapres pendamping Prabowo sudah beredar, salah satunya Ketua Umum PKB Muhaimin Iskandar. Selain itu ada juga wacana menduetkan Prabowi dengan Menteri BUMN Erick Thohir yang belakangan rajin digaungkan oleh PAN.

Nama-nama lain yang juga masuk bursa cawapres Prabowo adalah Gubernur Jawa Timur Khofifah Indar Parawansa, Yenny Wahid, Mahfud MD, hingga Wali Kota Solo Gibran Rakabuming Raka.

Nama terakhir terbentur syarat usia capres-cawapres dalam UU Pemilu. Namun, UU tersebut kini tengah diajukan judicial review ke Mahkamah Konstitusi. (**/jn)
