JELAJAHNEWS.ID – Peristiwa pelanggaran HAM berat yang pernah terjadi di Indonesia mengisahkan sejumlah cerita bagi beberapa pihak yang terdampak, di antaranya Suryo Hartono dan Sudaryanto Priyono. Suryo dan Sudaryanto merupakan mahasiswa Indonesia di Ceko dan Rusia yang tidak bisa kembali pulang ke Indonesia saat peristiwa tahun 1965.
“[Saya] tidak bisa kembali [ke Indonesia] karena saya dicabut paspor,” ucap Suryo Martono saat berbincang dengan Presiden Joko Widodo dalam acara peluncuran program pelaksanaan rekomendasi penyelesaian nonyudisial pelanggaran hak asasi manusia (HAM) berat di Rumoh Geudong, Pidie, Aceh, Selasa (27/06/2023).
Suryo bercerita bahwa pada tahun 1965, dirinya tengah menjalani pendidikan di salah satu universitas di Ceko melalui beasiswa yang diberikan oleh Kementerian Perguruan Tinggi dan Ilmu Pengetahuan (PTIP). Kemudian pada 30 September 1965 terjadi peristiwa di tanah air yang mengakibatkan dicabutnya paspor yang dimilikinya bersama sejumlah mahasiswa Indonesia yang berada di sana.
“Saya dan 16 teman-teman di PPI Ceko waktu itu dicabut semua (paspornya) karena tidak mau, kita tidak mau menandatangani persetujuan atas terbentuknya pemerintahan yang baru,” cerita Suryo.
Sementara itu, Sudaryanto Priyono, bercerita bahwa akibat dari peristiwa pada tahun 1965, dirinya yang pada saat itu tengah menjalani pendidikan di salah satu universitas di Moskow, Rusia kehilangan kewarganegaraannya sebagai warga negara Indonesia.
“Karena saya tidak memenuhi syarat skrining terhadap itu dilakukan di mana, di sana ada poin bahwa harus mengutuk Bung Karno, ini yang langsung tidak saya terima, dan akhirnya dalam seminggu sesudahnya saya menerima surat pemberitahuan bahwa paspor saya sudah dicabut dan saya kehilangan kewarganegaraan,” tuturnya yang turut berbincang bersama Presiden.
Dalam kesempatan terpisah, Suryo pun mengapresiasi program yang diluncurkan oleh pemerintah dalam pelaksanaan rekomendasi penyelesaian nonyudisial pelanggaran Hak Asasi Manusia (HAM) berat. Suryo menilai hal tersebut menunjukkan kepedulian pemerintah terhadap para korban.
“Jadi ini walaupun mungkin tidak memuaskan semua pihak tapi buat saya pribadi ini merupakan langkah yang berarti untuk memberikan ketentuan bahwa ini diurusi dengan sangat serius dan tanpa pamrih,” tuturnya.
Suryo pun berharap agar hal serupa tidak terjadi kembali kepada generasi muda saat ini.
“Agar generasi muda dan yang akan datang tidak mengalami nasib-nasib yang kita alami, bukan seperti kita tapi seperti 12 kasus HAM berat yang telah terjadi,” ucapnya.
Sementara itu, Sudaryanto menyebut bahwa langkah yang diambil pemerintah ini merupakan langkah yang penuh keberanian dan menunjukan kebijaksanaan yang penuh dengan tanggung jawab.
“Kami tidak menyangka bahwa pemerintah masih peduli dengan kami yang ada di luar, dan ini menunjukkan kebijaksanaan Pak Joko Widodo yang cukup tinggi, kebijaksanan yang penuh tanggung jawab,” tandasnya.(skb)
